Dr. Mehmet İlteber Bahadır especially emphasizes that psoriasis likes dry skin and cold weather. In cold weather, the rate of sweating and lubrication on the skin decreases. The skin cracks and this is the main reason for the increase in the lesions of psoriasis patients during the winter months. As we mentioned in our previous programs and articles, psoriasis patients are obliged to use various body lotions and oils after their baths between November and May, when the weather starts to get cold, that is, the sweating in the body decreases and the skin oil ratio decreases. If possible, the creams they use should be light, fluid, easy to apply, and contain natural plant-based oils. We can ensure that they change the brand or type of cream they use at least every 2 months, so that the skin becomes stronger by feeding it with different oils. These are the conditions that psoriasis patients should do for a better quality of life.
